今日は鯖江河原部主催の「学ぼう！遊ぼう！河原へGO！」が
鯖江市有定橋上流日野川で開催されました。
環境文化研究所は、参加者全員で行う川流れ体験と希望者で行うEボート体験・川遊び体験を行いました。
本日の日野川は流れも緩く、流れるには優しいくらいのスピードでした。
しかし、そのお陰で川の中を泳ぐ魚をたっぷりゆっくりと観察することができましたよ。
ゴーグルを持ってきた子たちはもう夢中です。
保護者のみなさんも、子供たちと一緒に流れます。
少し怖がる子供たちも、お家の人たちと一緒に流れると笑顔に。
みんな上手に２回流れることが出来ました。
後半は3つのコースに分かれて体験です。
<お魚コース>は日野川漁協共同組合さんにご指導いただき本物に釣り竿を使って
アユ釣り体験。アユを釣りあげた人もいたそうです！
<河原コース>は日野川(支流を含む)を美しくする会さんご指導のもと水辺の生き物観察会とエコネットさばえさんのご指導によるストーンペイントと竹水鉄砲作りです。
そして、<川コース>は私たち環境文化研究所担当です。
内容はEボート体験と川遊び体験。
川の中をEボートでスイスイ進みます。
川の中から自然環境を学び、時にはボートからジャンプしたりと盛り上がりました。
パドルの使い方もドンドン上手になって、ボートが進むスピードもアップ！
川遊びでは川に石をひっくり返したり、川のなかで前転してみたりと子供たちの興味のままに遊びました。
子供たちにとってこういった体験は学びと密接に繋がっています。
大人から見て、どうでも良さそうなことでもその行動がどのように学びに繋がるかわかりません。
ぜひ、子供たちには五感をフルにつかった「学ぼう！遊ぼう！河原へGO！」が、物の考え方や学びのきっかけとなることを願っています!
